Located in northern Nevada, Fallon lies approximately 63 miles east of Reno on U.S. Highway 50, designated “The Loneliest Road in America”. Fallon can hardly be called “lonely” however with a population of approximately 8,300 residents it serves as the county seat of Churchill County. The nearby Fallon Naval Air Station is home to some additional 3,000 residents, with the entire county average population being approximately 26,000. While it may be said Fallon isn’t “lonely” it is instead a growing prosperous community with expanding neighborhoods and businesses bringing many opportunities.

The Fallon community is home to 8 public schools as well as having private schools available, a state-of-the-art county hospital, two community pools and a public golf course. There is a daily newspaper as well as a weekly publication and a local radio station. Numerous restaurants and motels are available, a movie theater, public library and a county museum.
